Go for a great horse back ride with us! Ride includes marshmellows, hot dog roast, soda and chips. Go hiking and see beautiful falls, get a great ride, and relax by the campfire. Cost is $50 per day per rider, or $95 per rider gets you a full weekend of riding each day with meals.

2 Hour Maple Grove Ride 2 hour ride - $40- for ages 7 and up.
Enjoy a relaxed, extended ride to Thomas Creek, through majestic firs and maple groves, and around beautiful wildlife. This is our standard ride. You will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. And may even see deer or elk on your ride. Those who are able to maintain their seat may have a chance for some trotting. Everyone in his or her group must also have that ability. Evening rides can come back to the barn to roast marshmellows and hot dogs for $8 additional per rider. Want a lower price on this ride? Wild Adventure Run!
Wild Adventure Run! - $150- for ages 10 and up. Go Horse back riding, then go white water rafting! We make the reservation, all you have to do is show up! Lunch is included for this adventure trip. Rafting is with an independent company, and usually is a 1 hour trip on the Santiam River, with a 2 hour horseback ride. This day long adventure is available usually May through early August. Best for fit, adventuresome people above the age of 10. $150 per person.

3 Hour Ride - Creek Side Ride
Creek Side Ride -$55-Trail ride next to Thomas Creek, and wander through the maple grove. Explore the Thomas Creek Valley and have great views of the surrounding country while riding your horse. This is a great ride for intermediate fit riders over the age of 10. Relaxed ride, wear clothing suitable for the weather. This ride is open as long as the trails are dry, usually June through October. If the ground is wet, we will be riding on gravel roads and some trails that meander next to Thomas Creek. Lunch provided at $10 additional per rider. Sandwich, chips, soda, dessert. Lunch time is included in ride time.

This is a great ride if you don't mind riding along alot of gravel roads, and some beautiful trails. Must wear long pants and boots or clothing suitable for outdoor weather. This ride is seasonal, ususally November through April, since the flow of the water fall depends on the amount of rainfall. The water fall is a small cascade, with a great spot to stop and have lunch if the weather permits. $85 per person Lunch is additional $10 per person if provided.

 We have many great trail ride options to choose from. Horse

back guided rides and adventures for all ages.

Before each of our trail rides, we provide all our guests a few minutes of horseback riding instruction. We offer this to everyone, regardless of previous experience, in order to acquaint them with the horse they are riding. Please wear long pants and boots or closed toe shoes suitable for outdoor adventure. Riders are welcome to help saddle and groom their horses for a ride when possible, please let us know.
We feel you will enjoy your ride more and be a safer rider if you have some individualized guidance right before your ride. In addition to taking away the memories of a beautiful experience, you will have a chance to learn and reinforce skills that may stay with you long after your vacation is over.You will also feel good knowing that 100% of the proceeds directly benefits the horses, horse rescue. and future youth programs. Pony Ride 15 mins lead around the corral $10

For riders ages 1 and up . You will be safe on our pony as rides are led around the corral. Great for timid riders.

 1 Hour Rides for ages 5 and up

Play Games in the Field! -$25 per hour per rider
This is a great ride for the whole family! Riders must be age 2 and up. Play Simon Says, Tag, Red Light Green Light, Frisbee Golf. Get some great horse skills and you won't even know that you are learning to ride. Small children will be led with attendants, while adult riders can ride by themselves. It's like having a party on horseback! This is the only ride where small children can ride alongside the adults. (note: no small ponies available at this time)

2 Hour Rides

Maple Grove Ride 2 hour ride - $40- for ages 7 and up.

2 hour Deluxe evening ride with t bone or chicken BBQ, salad, bread, dessert and side $65 per person
Watch the sunset go down, and get a great BBQ dinner after your ride. Small parties would be welcome to park their tent at the barn, or at the local RV park, which is especially great for those that love horses and want to see the morning barn routine, or have a long drive home. If  you would like, you can ride the next day for $30 additional per rider.

3 Hour Rides

Creek Side Ride 3 hour ride -$55- for ages 10 and up

Swimming Hole Ride 3 hour ride -$75
Cross Thomas Creek at the Swimming Hole! For intermediate riders above the age of 10 who have some riding experience, are able to control their horse to cross the creek, and want the chance to really see some beautiful country. This ride is seasonal, from about July to September. Must be willing to ride with occasional traffic on the quiet country road, and be able to pull your horse off to the side for traffic to go by. $75 per person
Lunch is additional $10 per person if provided, and lengthens the ride to 3.5 hours long.

Mountain Ride 3 hour ride -$75
Ride up the side of a mountain, and stop and have a rest or lunch with great views of the surrounding mountains and forests. We can go off trail for this ride for confident or intermediate riders. Great ride for the outdoor enthusiast. Must wear long pants and boots or clothing suitable for outdoor weather.  Recommend you bring water, camera,  and snacks for the ride unless you want us to pack lunch for you. Lunch is an additional $10 per person and includes sandwiches, chips, soda, and dessert.This ride usually goes out year round. For confident riders above the age of 10.  Want half price on this ride? 4 hour rides

Beach Ride
Guided Trail ride at the Oregon beach and coast with your horse! You will never be able to get a 4 hour experience at the beach with horses for just $150 per rider from other companies. For experienced riders only above the age of 12 for now, we should be able to take intermediate and beginner level riders by summer of 2011. Want half price on this ride? Mountain to Trail Gobblers Loop - $85

Experience the great outdoors! Great opportunity for a ride for intermediate, fit riders. See great mountain views, or a cascading waterfall if in season (usually November through April). Ride next to Thomas Creek, and ride really great trails in the summer, or ride for miles on the gravel roads and enjoy the view of firs, and possible glimpses of wildlife. Stop and have lunch. Great opportunity for some trotting is available for experienced fit riders.

Overnight rides $195 per person, depending on location

Choose where you want to go! Ride at a mountain lake, wilderness area, desert, a park with waterfalls, or go to the beach and enjoy the horses for two days. One month minimum reservation. Must be a confident rider above the age of 10 for these rides. We provide a nice dinner, and the menu usually depends on the facilities available. 

Mountain Lake $195

 Sarting Saturday morning, we take a 2 hour ride to a mountain lake, set up camp, and can ride from there. You will have to be able to fit your gear in to  equally balanced duffel bags, 1 duffel bag per rider. We do have tents and sleeping bags that riders can borrow. Sleep and watch the horses when you get up, and you could even go fishing if you would like. This is a fully supported ride that includes meals. big  lakeriders cooling off

Oregon Coast $215

Stay overnight at the Oregon Coast and ride horses! This is a fully supported ride that starts Friday night, and ends Sunday at 2pm. Get great food, and campout under the stars. Watch your horse eat breakfast while you get yours. Go for2 hour rides at the beach, having a horse all to yourself for the day. Let us know if you need a tent and sleeping bag, or if you will need to bring your own. You are also welcome to stay in a nearby hotel, which you will need to book and pay for in advance of your ride.

Kalamath Falls: See great mountain scenery. Choose between kayaking, mountain biking and white water rafting. You can choose to have a relaxing weekend with the horses or a great adventure filled with great activities.

Wednesday evening lessons group: $20 per person

Join the Wednesday evening ride group! Play games and learn to ride at your own pace. Great for ages 2 and up.

Private beginning riding lessons $25 hr per person ride

Memberships

Or get a membership for $80 a month and get a weekly lesson, and volunteer time

in exchange to ride nearly anytime! RR Saddle Club has a really great time riding 

and working together to benefit the horses.

For guided rides and horse rentals, RR Saddle Club is the best in the business. Located in the heart of the Santiam River Valley, it services Salem, Eugene, Portland, Bend, Redmond, Corvallis, Albany, Jefferson. All of these cities are located in Oregon. We even get guests from California, Washington, and as far away as Japan. If you want pony parties located in the Salem, Eugene, Portland, Bend, Redmond, Corvallis, Albany, Jefferson areas we have it. If you want to take guided horse back rides at the beach or Oregon Coast we offer that too. We also take out rides near Silver Creek Falls. We will take rides out to Vancouver, Kalamath Falls, near Crater Lake and near Del Ray Beach in Oregon. We offer a guide pack service in the summer and a guided ride service in the winter and have special New Years and horse Christmas Events. If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, RR Saddle Club has a work in exchange for ride program.
